Flourish at NC State

Flourish is a program that was developed from evidence-based research related to the benefits of horticulture therapy. Flourish is a collaboration between Prevention Services and the Department of Horticultural Science.

  • Developed from evidence-based research surrounding the benefits of horticulture therapy
  • Promotes physical and mental wellness, social skills, and emotional growth
  • Provides experiential and educational opportunities.

Have a Plant or Wellness Questions?

Plant questions are answered by Dr. Helen Kraus, Undergraduate Program Director for the Department of Horticultural Science. Wellness questions are answered by Emily Anderson, Outreach and Resilience Coordinator for Student Health Services.
